We’re receiving a discount from the government’s Energy Bill Relief Scheme (ERBS) for all electricity we purchased between 1st October 2022 and 31st March 2023.
We’ll be passing this discount on to you if we’ve billed you for electricity in your service charge during this time (e.g. communal lighting).
If you live in a building we do not manage directly, the building’s management will need to pass this discount on to you. We’re contacting all our managing agents to ensure they’re aware of this discount. In some cases, the building manager may write to you directly with information about savings.
If we manage your building directly, we’ll write to you again to inform you of the saving you’ve made. This information will be available once the year end accounts for the building have been completed. This is likely to be around September 2023.
Please note: If you only pay rent, and don’t pay an additional service charge, this discount does not apply to you.
The EBRS is not to be confused with the £400 energy price guarantee, which applies to the energy you consume within your home and is billed by the utility provider directly.
