As we draw towards the end of October, and the end of Black History Month, it’s right we reflect on how we celebrated this year’s theme, ‘Saluting our Sisters’.

Recently at our head office in London, we held an event for our colleagues to learn more about Black culture.

We shared traditional Caribbean food, with the aloo pies being a real crowd pleaser, and had a fantastic pannist playing the steelpan.

Over at our office in Kent, colleagues commemorated Black History Month by wearing a kaleidoscope of vibrant colours. Copies of the Black History Month (BHM) magazine were also distributed, serving as an essential resource to educate, inspire and celebrate the rich history and culture of Black communities.

We’ve loved shining a light on the crucial role that Black women have played in shaping history, inspiring change, and building communities.
