Final brick laid at New Kent Road development

We’re pleased to announce we’ve held a topping out ceremony at our New Kent Road development in Southwark.

This exciting new development in partnership with Mayor of London, Southwark Council and HG Construction will deliver 81 new homes.

Councillor Helen Dennis, Cabinet Member for New Homes and Sustainable Development, joined our CEO, Paul Hackett to place the final brick on the 13th floor of the building, marking the latest milestone on the construction of the site.

"The site will provide 81 much needed new homes in the area with 50% being affordable, there will be nine wheelchair accessible homes and the entire development will be car free apart from the blue badge parking spaces on the forecourt. It’s a 7-minute walk away from Elephant & Castle underground station and just south of the Elephant Park regeneration area being developed, which will provide a new vibrant community and various local amenities which residents will benefit from" - Paul Hackett.
