A day of 'sea magic' in Sussex

It was the first time we've been able to hold this summer fun day since the pandemic, and it proved a roaring success.

A big thank you to our residents - and staff - who helped organise a fantastic celebration of the sea - with mermaids, sea monsters, sailors and pirates.

As well as having lots of fun, it was a great opportunity for us to speak with the community about our proposed hub development and pitch improvements at Sidley Recreation Ground.

Everyone I’ve seen or spoken to since the event has said they absolutely LOVED it!  This was our first summer fun day that we’ve been able to do since before lockdown, and we know how important it is for the local community to have opportunities to come together like this.

We’ve had such fantastic feedback from the community on SeaMagic Sidley and the hub development, and it’s been good to see everyone enjoying it so much and getting involved in so many different ways.
