Looking to start a career in teaching? Book your place on our free Teaching Assistant course starting September 2023.
This course is a great way to develop the knowledge and understanding of child and young person development.
This course is conducted online via Zoom and in person at the Four Courts Community Centre with a qualified tutor and will be run for 18 weeks starting in September 2023 excluding school holidays.
You'll participate in a City and Guilds Accredited programme "Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools". This will allow you to begin a career as a Teaching Assistant or Individual Needs Assistant in Primary, secondary and college education.
In addition to this fully funded course there is also a 1-2-1 employment support service available and job opportunities.

For more information or to book your place, please register your interest by 14 July by contacting our Employment Support Officer, Beth on 07890 630181 or email beth.sebbage@southernhousing.org.uk.
Once you've booked your place we'll get in touch with all the details you need to get started.
