Scam details
The resident said they received a letter from a company called Property Krowd offering misleading information regarding tenancy issues.
We are aware that the letter mentions Southern Housing however we have no connection with Property Krowd and any association with us is misleading and unauthorised.
This company is not authorised by us to contact you or to collect any information on our behalf.
Fortunately, the resident was able to identify this was a potential scam and reported this to us immediately. Please be aware of similar scams. Never share sensitive information, such as passwords or bank details, over the phone or online, unless you’re sure of the requester’s identity.

                    Protect yourself from phone scams and fraud
Scammers can target people online (on websites and social media), as well as using letters, phone calls and knocking on doors. Be cautious if:
- It sounds too good to be true
 - You're asked for personal info or quick payments
 - The contact is unexpected or seems suspicious
