Under the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022, it's a legal requirement for us to share fire safety information with residents living in multi-occupied residential buildings.
At Southern Housing, we’re committed to going beyond these statutory obligations to ensure residents feel informed and confident about the safety of their building. In addition to the fire safety information already provided annually, residents can now access key documents, including the Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) and a fire safety information guide, through a new, easy-to-use digital portal.
We’ve begun installing posters in the communal entrance areas of all our buildings. Each poster features a site-specific QR code. By scanning the code with your phone, tablet, or any device with a camera, you’ll be able to instantly view and download the latest FRA and fire safety information for your building.
With over 6,000 buildings, it will take some time to complete the rollout of these posters. If your building doesn’t yet have a QR code poster and you’d like a copy of your FRA, please contact us at firesafety.delivery@southernhousing.org.uk.
