The development includes nine homes for families and a mix of of one and two-bedroom flats offered through Shared Ownership or London Affordable Rent.
The goal was to establish a thriving place to live, where residents can foster a real sense of community - we’ve received an overwhelmingly positive response so far and we’re confident we’ll achieve that goal.
Rooted in Our History
This site was once the site of Ada Lewis House, built in the 1920s to help women who needed support. Ada Lewis was married to Samuel Lewis, who started a housing trust in 1901. That trust later became Southern Housing.
To remember this history, we asked London-based artist Jenny Kay, in collaboration with Artelier Curation, to make a special stained-glass artwork. It’s now at the entrance and shows respect to the women who lived here long ago.
