The chosen theme was inclusion, diversity and equality, values that are at the heart of what we do. And for 22 Argyll Street, getting involved was about more than celebrating Pride, it was a chance to express themselves, build confidence, and connect with the local community.
The Argyll Street group were incredibly proud to stand alongside people from all walks of life and promote a society where everyone is respected, valued and empowered to be their true selves.
The support and encouragement shown by members of the public along the parade route made the experience even more special, giving residents memories that will last far longer than the event. They even managed to snap a photo with the High Sheriff of the Isle of Wight, Nigel Hartley, MBE.
"Pride is about celebrating who we are as individuals and recognising that everyone deserves to feel accepted, respected and valued. Our residents embraced this year's theme of inclusion, diversity and equality with such enthusiasm, and it was wonderful to see the confidence and joy they displayed throughout the day.
“We always attend Pride, but this year, taking part gave our residents the opportunity to connect with their community and celebrate what makes each of them unique. I couldn't be prouder of everyone who took part and represented 22 Argyll Street so positively."
