Meet Harriet
Harriet went from homeless teenager to Peer Support Worker on the Isle of Wight.
Her darker days saw her binge drinking and frequently caught up in the criminal justice system.
But the mum-of-two has turned her life around and is using her experience to help others.
Her role includes acting as a voice for residents, providing support, and arranging activities.
I truly am so passionate about helping people who may still be struggling like I was, whatever form that takes for them. I feel real empathy towards those residents I meet and want to make a positive difference in their lives and allow them to achieve their goals.
