Sometimes life at home can feel challenging, and when it does, our Tenancy Sustainment Service is here to help. Our officers work closely with residents who need extra support, offering friendly, one to one guidance to help people feel safer, more confident and more in control of their home.

From April to December 2025, 418 residents reached out for support. Many told us they felt overwhelmed or unsure where to turn. Our team helped them with practical challenges like hoarding, accessing specialist services and finding financial support to ease day to day pressures.

A big part of the service is supporting residents experiencing domestic abuse. During this time, 226 residents received help to move somewhere safer, add extra security to their home or connect with specialist organisations who could offer further support. Everything we do is led by the resident, making sure people feel heard, respected and supported at every step.
