A couple who met at an ex-servicemen’s club over six decades ago have celebrated their Diamond wedding anniversary.
Lil and Stan, residents at one of our supported schemes in the West Midlands, were over the moon to receive a very special anniversary card from the King, to mark their incredible achievement.
When asked if they’re still in love, they replied, “yes, even more now.” The pair admit to having their disagreements but say “it’s always so nice to make up.”
So, what’s the secret to a long and lasting happy marriage? They say, “working together, sharing things and sorting things out before they get out of hand.” Sounds like great advice to us!
